GROUNDBREAKER - TALENTS

GROUNDBREAKER is a Cologne-based NGO that supports local education projects in the Global South.

With the "Foundation as a Service" concept, Groundbreaker makes it as easy and uncomplicated as possible for companies and private individuals to get involved. We support the "Groundbreaker Talents" project – which trains talented young women in Uganda to become developers – with a hardware donation.

The scholarship holders live together on campus and are provided with all the necessary technical equipment. Together with its local partner Refactory, GROUNDBREAKER ensures that the scholarship holders can realize their dream of an IT future.

The training is practical and brings scholarship holders into contact with partner companies at an early stage, so that they can start their careers straight away when they finish.

We support the programme with a hardware donation.

This way, our used Macbooks can be sustainably utilized. We are also looking into becoming mentors for the scholarship holders in the future. ❤️

We got to know Tabea at ITCS job fair. Our CTO Sebastian was immediately enthusiastic about the "GROUNDBREAKER TALENTS" project and pledged our support. We would of course be delighted if we could inspire even more companies to get involved.
