FLINX Focus: The operational control center as an eDetailer for your reps!
In conversations with brand and product teams, digital managers, and customer excellence teams, I often hear that it would be incredibly helpful to provide sales representatives with concrete, data-based support and enable them to take precise action. This is immediately followed by the comment that, unfortunately, the CRM system is too confusing and complicated.
And unfortunately, that is indeed the case. Much can be configured in Veeva, for example, and used on a data-based basis. There are also some really good external tools that generate all kinds of supplementary reports, etc. based on this data.
However, there is a decision-making gap: for the sales force, it is still very cumbersome and cannot be used directly in daily business operations.

And how does it work?
Integrated into a mini eDetailer with two slides, all the specific facts that the sales force should ideally always have at their fingertips are listed clearly and immediately comprehensibly, based entirely on the data available in Veeva.
- All important information about the customer and their preferences can be seen at a glance.
- All eDetailers and their individual slides, as well as corresponding approved emails, are sorted and available based on key messages.
- A clear visualization with traffic light symbols shows which activities have already been completed in detail and what can still be done to cover all relevant topics with the customer as comprehensively as possible.
- Slides in eDetailers that still need to be discussed and approved emails to be sent for the individual key messages can be opened and used immediately without any detours.
- With a little gamification, every sales representative can see in a visual and motivating way how extensively individual customers have already been provided with relevant information.
Overall, this is a real and powerful added value as well as genuine support for the sales force in their daily business!
On a second slide, FLINX Insights can be used to integrate a copy of the eDetailer sitemap if desired. Specific, up-to-date facts are displayed directly on the thumbnails of the individual slides with visual support:
- Overall use of the eDetailer.
- How frequently individual slides were used in discussions.
- Which slides were used as exit points and how frequently.
- Which approved emails were sent, how often, and from which slide.
Selecting different eDetailers is very easy in a list of presentations available to the respective user.
But... there is no “but”!
By using existing Veeva user permissions, regulations and requirements for data protection, etc. are complied with.
The rollout is carried out quite simply in the customer-specific deployment process for eDetailer – even for updates. This means that every eDetailer can be integrated retrospectively with minimal effort. This makes both FLINX Focus and FLINX Insights an absolutely sustainable, future-oriented, and secure tool for optimal customer engagement in closed-loop marketing in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and life sciences industries.
No additional tools or end devices, etc., are required. On the contrary, the central tool on the iPad is used much better and more comprehensively.
Every BU, every brand team, every product team, every digital team, every customer excellence team, etc. can take action and very quickly put the operational control center to use with FLINX Focus and FLINX Insights. This can also be easily implemented across teams, as the existing user permissions only display what the respective user is authorized to see.
